An informational interview is when you go to an interview with a recruiter so the both of you can have a conversation about what you would like to do as a career. An informational interview is not designed to get you hired but, instead it was design so that the recruiter can learn about you and what kind of career you are interested in, so they can go out and find that type of career work for you and eventually lead you to the hiring process.

For this assignment you will not be having an actual informational interview, instead pretend you are in an informational interview and you had a chance to ask three questions to learn about the company, what would those questions be? This will be your answer for number 1. Look at the example below to learn how to answer question two and three.

2. What are two things you learned about your favorite career path during the informational interview?

1. I learned that there are many different path I can take in the field of information technology

2. I learned that different career paths within the field of information technology required different amount of education and certifications.

3. Have your feelings changed based on what you learned in the interview? Why or why not?

Yes my feeling has changed based on what I have learned in the interview because I can now decide which IT career path is more suitable for me to work on.
