1. Click here to visit Boost Mobile

2. Click on Check Eligibility button on the Boost Mobile website. (The button looks like the one below)

3. Type in your zip code and click on START (On the Boost Mobile website)

4. Complete the form (on the Boost Mobile website) and click Continue.

5. Click here to visit the website Check Life Line

6. Sign up for a free account with Check Life Line

7. Complete the verification on the Check Life Line website and copy the Application ID code and keep it safe.

8. In the next few days check your email for an email from Boost Mobile. It should look like the one below with a special promocode (Step 3). (Do not share this code with anyone else)

9. Follow the step in the email to order your hotspot with 50% discount using your unique promocode. (Copy and paste the promocode in the promotion box during check out to get the discount)

10. Once your hotspot has arrived follow the link in step 3 (activate.boostmobile.com) in the email to activate your hotspot. You must get the IMEI number located below the battery inside your hotspot to active. After you have removed the battery and get the IMEI number on your hotspot, click on the activate.boostmobile.com link in your email and fill out the form to start the activation process. (See screenshot below)

Select New Customer

Select Activate New Device

Select New Number

This is where you type in your hotspot IMEI number and confirm it

Select No and click on the Continue button at the bottom right

After you have completed the form on this page and click on Continue. Just follow the instruction on the website to complete the activation process. The purpose of doing this is to get a phone number for your SIM card located inside the hotspot. Without the phone number, you cannot get Internet service from Boost Mobile.

11. Complete step 4 in the email to start using your hotspot.

Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phones and the internet. Eligible customers will get up to $9.25 toward their bill. You can only use Lifeline for either phone or internet, but not both. To get Lifeline, find a company near you.

Experienced a substantial loss of income due to job loss or furlough since February 29, 2020 and the household had a total income in 2020 at or below $99,000 for single filers and $198,000 for joint filers; or

Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider's existing low-income or COVID-19 program.
