An investment in knowledge pays the best interest ~ Benjamin Franklin.

Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It's about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life.

Do not give your past the power to define your future.

If you want to succeed, focus on changing yourself, not others.

Charcoal Mask

Charcoal has a long history of use as an active measure against toxic substances in the body, dating as far back as the ancient Egyptians, Romans, and to the Greek physician Hippocrates. Recently it has made its way to beauty shelves across the globe and for good reason. Charcoal is antiseptic and has cleansing properties that are effective in eliminating toxins on the skin. When combined with other natural ingredients, it is a good way to treat your skin. This natural mask will draw impurities away from the skin and act as an exfoliant for a radiant complexion.

YOU WILL NEED

  • 1 TB. activated charcoal
  • 1 TB. baking soda
  • 1 TB. purified water
  • 1/2 tsp. jojoba oil
HOW TO MAKE

Mix together the charcoal and baking soda. Add the water first and then the jojoba oil, and mix well. Before the mixture starts to thicken, quickly apply it to your face with a fan brush. Leave the mask for two to three minutes, and scrub off gently with a wash rag and warm water. Follow up with your daily serum, facial oil, or moisturizer.
