The following is a list of items you are not authorized to have on the Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center. you will be held accountable if you are in possession of any of the following:

• Brass Knuckles (including ring)
• Candy Necklaces
• Cooking Appliances
• Coricidin
• Dental Jewelry (Grills)
• Drug Paraphernalia
• Explosive
• Extension Cords
• Firearms (including toy guns)
• Gambling devices/paraphernalia
• Goldenseal
• Halogen Lamps
• Handcuffs
• Incandescent Black Lights
• Inhalant
• Knives
• Laser Pointers
• MACE
• Marijuana, LSD, and Heroin
• Martial Arts Equipment
• Niacin
• Non-Disposable Razor
• Pacifiers
• Pepper Spray
• Pointed Scissors 2" or longer
• Refrigerators
• Scanners
• Smokeless Tobacco (all)
• Tobacco (juveniles only)
• Two -Way Radios

All confiscated unauthorized goods will be destroyed

Products containing Ephedra

Guns and "look-a-likes" (B-B or pellet guns, water guns, cigarette lighter guns, etc.)

Electric shock devices "Tasers"

Any multi-vitamin containing more than 100% of the FDA recommended daily dose of niacin

Products promoting weight loss or gain, unless approved by the Health and Wellness Department

The key to any center lock other than your room key

Any stolen property, any homemade weapons, chains longer than 16", any items designed to look like a weapon, or any items illegal under State law

Explosives and incendiaries, incense, candles, fireworks, and gunpowder

Any instruments for which the primary is to inflict personal injury

Alcoholic beverage or any product containing alcohol which goes in or around the mouth, including mouthwash (e.g., "Listerine"), and cough medications (e.g., "Nyquil")

Hallucinogenic mushrooms

All illegal drugs and controlled substances, including any prescription drugs that do not belong to you.

Any signs, symbols, decorations, clothing, literature or music which promotes membership or activity of any gang, racist group or organization, violence, alcohol or drug use. Pornography, including any signs, symbols, decorations, clothing, literature, sex toys or music which promote vulgarity or sexual behavior. Televisions/monitors larger than 13"
