Standards & Expectations

You are required to attend all scheduled classes and meetings. You are expected to be at your assigned location daily and on-time. Your work habits will carry over into your working life, so it is important to build good attendance habits now. Request a new print-out of your schedule if you have an approved schedule change. You are not permitted anywhere else on center during training hours, unless you have a pass.

You will be marked "Present" at the start of the class period. you will be marked "Tardy" if you are late to class and "Absent" if you miss the majority of the class period.

TRAINING DAY SCHEDULE:

8:00AM - 9:30AM 1st Period
9:30AM - 9:45AM BREAK
9:45AM - 11:15AM 2nd Period
11:15AM - 12:15PM LUNCH
12:15PM - 1:45PM 3rd Period
1:45PM - 2:00PM BREAK
2:00PM - 3:30PM 4th Period
3:30PM - 4:30PM CSS Hour

Career Success Standards Hour consists one of the following:
  • Student Pay
  • Business Meeting
  • ESP Panels
  • Residential Living Meetings
  • CMT Meeting
  • Meetings that practice CSS
  • SBM Panels
ATTENDANCE POLICY
  • Students who are in class when the class starts are considered present
  • Students who are late for class up to 10 minutes are tardy
  • Students who are more than 10 minutes late are absent
  • Students who leave class without permission will be considered absent
  • Students who leave class with permission and do not return on time are considered absent
  • Students who are residential should sign the Morning Accountability Check (MAC) Roster on their floor by 7:30 AM to be considered on time for training
  • All students are required to participate in the Evaluation of Student's Progress (ESP) panels every 60 days.
CLAS ABSENCES/TARDIES:

You are responsible to check for absences and tardies daily. If you receive an absence/tardy. it can be cleared only by getting the signature of the staff member that you were with and the staff memeber you were assigned. When you have the proper signatures, form must be turned in to the Scheduling/TABE specialist in the TABE Room.

Check with your RA/RC and/or Counselor for class absence notifications.

If you have 48 hours to address excusable class absences.
